No. 2 Ashland 103 (10-0, 4-0 GLIAC) def. Wayne State 55 (4-5, 2-2 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Ashland posted 61 first-half points to lead by 29 points at halftime after a 29-16 rebounding advantage and a dominant 32 points in the paint all while hitting on 15-of-16 free throw attempts in the first two quarters. AU recorded 30 assists on the day and 32 points off turnovers, compared to eight for the Warriors. Five players entered double-digit scoring performances, highlighted by Laina Snyder's 19 points and 13 rebounds with Andi Daugherty adding 19 points of her own to go with five assists and four steals.


No. 16 Grand Valley State 59 (7-2, 3-1 GLIAC) def. Walsh 51 (5-5, 1-3 GLIAC) - OVERTIME | BOX SCORE

A defensive slugfest limited both offenses in the first half giving Walsh a slim 21-20 edge at halftime. Walsh was unable to hold a late advantage in regulation before the Lakers forced overtime. GVSU pulled away with a 14-6 edge in the extra period for the win. The contest featured six ties and 10 led changes. Walsh's Holly Grober led all scorers with 13 points and six rebounds, while Grand Valley was guided by Piper Tucker's 11 points, 11 rebounds and five steals.


No. 24 Saginaw Valley 100 (7-2, 3-1 GLIAC) def. Tiffin 72 (3-5, 1-3 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Saginaw Valley fired a stifling 73.1 percent in the first half to go with 14-of-16 shooting from the free throw line to lead by 20 points at the break. The Cardinals then outrebounded Tiffin 28-13 in the second half to run away with the road victory. SVSU tallied six players in double-figures, including Abby Duffy's 19 points and eight rebounds off the bench. Overall, SVSU fired 52.7 percent and outrebounded TU, 46-24.


Michigan Tech 75 (6-2, 2-1 GLIAC) def. Ohio Dominican 59 (6-4, 2-2 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

The Huskies shot 55.6 percent and connect on eight triples to lead by 21 points after two quarters of action. Michigan Tech was paced by Morgan Anderson's 18 points and seven rebounds, Brenna Heise's 17 points along with Kelli Guy's 15 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals in the road victory. ODU managed 15 points off the bench from Lindsey Blanford. Tech recorded a 41-31 rebounding margin on the boards.


Hillsdale 75 (7-3, 2-2 GLIAC) def. Ferris State 63 (2-7, 2-2 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Hillsdale forced 12 first-half Ferris State turnovers to gain a five-point edge at the break as both teams fired 43 percent. The Chargers used a 24-17 second-half rebounding advantage to pull away from the Bulldogs late. Hillsdale forced FSU into 20 turnovers and scored 19 points off those miscues. Makenna Ott led the Chargers with 18 points and five rebounds, while Allie Dewire scored 17 points in the win. FSU forward Rachel McInerney led all scorers with 20 points, including 10 rebounds, five assists, three blocks and a pair of steals.


Findlay 75 (5-5, 1-3 GLIAC) def. Lake Superior State 63 (2-7, 1-2 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Findlay outrebounded and outshot Lake Superior State in the first half all while getting 18 bench points to jump out to a 17-point advantage at the intermission. LSSU used a 27-16 third quarter to get back in the game before Findlay pulled away in the fourth. The Oilers used a balanced scoring attack featuring six players with at least eight points scored, including guard Haley Horstman who posted 10 points, five rebounds, five steals and four assists. Findlay connected on 52.9 percent of their field goal attempts for the game.


5 PM | Northern Michigan 68 (7-3, 2-1 GLIAC) def. Lake Erie 54 (2-7, 0-4 GLIAC) | BOX SCORE

Northern Michigan shot 53.3 percent from the floor and owned a 35-21 rebounding advantage over Lake Erie en route to a road victory. NMU's Darby Youngstrom posted 18 points and eight rebounds on 5-of-7 shooting and 7-for-7 from the line, while Bre Gaspervich added 14 points. LEC was guided by Kayla Gabor's 15 points as the Storm forced 18 Wildcat turnovers in the loss.
