No. 2 Ashland 101 def. No. 24 Saginaw Valley 50 | BOX SCORE

Ashland ran out to a quick 30-9 lead at the end of the first quarter as the Eagles ran away from the Cardinals in impressive fashion. The Eagles held SVSU to just five first-half field goal en route to a 54-15 halftime advantage. AU forced SVSU into 26 turnovers and held a 49-30 rebound edge for the game. Ashland put five players in double figures led by Kelsey Peare's 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting, six rebounds and six assists. AU's Laina Snyder followed with 19 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists.


Northwood 60 def. Findlay 49 | BOX SCORE

The Timberwolves fended off a fiesty Oilers squad with a big 20-12 fourth-quarter attack highlighted by 8-of-11 shooting from the floor on their way to an 11-point win. NU forward Jordyn Nurenberg posted 17 points, eight rebounds, three steals and three blocks. Anna Hintz guided the Findlay offense with 18 points on 7-for-10 shooting to go with 10 rebounds. 


Ferris State 60 def. Walsh 51 | BOX SCORE

The Bulldogs fired 52.1 percent from the field and held the Cavs to only 27.5 percent shooting as Ferris State overcame 24 turnovers to earn a hard-fought road victory. FSU relied on 26 bench points, a 36-24 points in the paint edge and a 43-30 rebounding margin to collect the victory. Rachel McInerney posted a game-high 18 points and nine rebounds on 7-of-13 shooting, while Leah Humes scored 15 points off the bench as Riley Blair also chipped in with 10 rebounds.


Tiffin 79 def. Wayne State 76 (OT) | BOX SCORE

The Dragon defense held the Warriors scoreless in the final 2:42 of overtime and went 4-for-4 from the free throw stripe to earn TU's first league victory of the year. Kristen Massey led Tiffin with 14 points on 5-of-7 shooting, while Wayne State's Nastassja Chambers posted a game-high 22 points going 10-for-15 from the field. Tiffin picked up the win shooting 54.9 percent, while Wayne State held a 29-15 points off turnovers margin.


Ohio Dominican 61 def. Northern Michigan 49 | BOX SCORE

Northern Michigan possessed a 3-point lead at the conclusion of three quarters of action before the Ohio Dominican defense held NMU to 1-of-14 shooting in the fourth quarter as the Panthers outscored the Wildcats 19-4 on their way to victory. ODU forced NMU into 25 turnovers in a contest that featured 11 lead changes. Ohio Dominican was paced by Lauren Bates and Jessica Boerger who each tallied 12 points.

Michigan Tech's Brenna Heise recorded 22 points, 12 rebounds and four steals on 10-of-15 shooting to lead the Huskies to a road victory over Lake Erie. MTU amassed 10 three-point buckets on the night, while shooting 48.3 percent from the floor. The contest was tied at halftime before the Huskies pulled away in the fourth quarter outscoring LEC 23-13 thanks to an impressive 9-of-12 team shooting performance.


Hillsdale 54 def. No. 16 Grand Valley State 47 | BOX SCORE

Hillsdale used a 21-11 fourth-quarter run and 53-35 rebounding advantage for the game to upset No. 16 Grand Valley State. The Chargers limited the Lakers to just 25.9 percent despite firing 32.2 percent themselves. Hillsdale's Allie Dittmer posted 14 points and 14 rebounds along with Makenna Ott's 13 points.
