Lakers move up four spots in WBCA DII Poll

LILBURN, Ga. -- Grand Valley State moved up four spots to 11th in the Women's Basktball Coaches Association DII Poll following last week's 91-64 victory over No. 1 Ashland. The Lakers also defeated Wayne State, 73-42.

GVSU (8-1) is off until a Dec. 17 non-conference game against Central State.

Ashland (8-1), which bounced back with an 83-51 victory over Davenport, dropped to No. 8. The Eagles play Notre Dame (Ohio) Monday.
