Findlay’s Kasey Petty Chosen as GLIAC Women's Golf "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - University of Findlay senior Kasey Petty (Port Clinton, Ohio/Port Clinton) has been chosen as the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference's (GLIAC) Women's Golf "Athlete of the Week."

University of Findlay sophomore Kasey Petty finished first at the Perry Park Spring Invitational, which concluded action on March 23 at the Perry Park Golf Course in, Perry Park, Ky.  Petty fired a three-round score of 225 to lead the Oilers to an eighth place finish with a total of 968 (322, 324, 322). Petty, who tied the school record for the lowest 54-hole score with her 225, shot a 78 in the first round before coming back with a 75 in the second.  She then carded an even-par score of 72 in the third and final round to take the title.
