WEEK 1: Katie Chipman - Grand Valley State

Week 2 & 3 - Destiny Lawson - Ferris  State

Ferris State University senior golfer Destiny Lawson had an impressive opening month of the season, highlighted by earning the GLIAC Player of the Week recognition for both Sept. 16 and Sept. 23. Lawson, who missed all of last year, returned to the top of the FSU lineup and led the Bulldogs to a team championship and a pair of runner-up finishes in September. Her play the opening weekend lifted Ferris State to the team title at the Saginaw Valley State Invitational (Sept. 14-15) in Bay City when she emerged as the individual medalist. In the event, she tied for first overall with a 150 (76-74) total and then birdied the first playoff hole to garner the win. The following week (Sept. 21-22), she carded a 142 figure (72-70) to earn runner-up honors while setting a new school individual 36-hole record as the Bulldogs placed second in the Cumberland Trail Golf Classic in Ohio. The team shot an impressive 604 total score, which represented the lowest figure for a 36-hole event in school history, including a school-record tying 296 figure in the first round of the tournament.

WEEK 4: Sabrina Coffman - Saginaw Valley State

Sabrina Coffman won the medalist honors at the 2019 Ferris State Lady Bulldog Invitational, held at the Katke Golf Course in Big Rapids. Coffman had a score of 71 (-1) and edged-out a one stroke victory in the event. It marked Sabrina's first-ever collegiate victory and her third top-10 finish of the season, which she achieved in all three of the first tournaments of the season. Her performance led the Cardinals to the team title as well, with Saginaw Valley defeating host Ferris State by two strokes for the win.
