BAY CITY, Mich. - Wheeling Jesuit University sophomore attacker Jessie Tufnell (Flower Mound, Texas / Coppell) earned GLIAC Women's Lacrosse "Athlete of the Week" honors.

Wheeling Jesuit University sophomore attacker Jessie Tufnell led the Cardinals to two wins defeating West Virginia Wesleyan College (13-6) and McKendree University (11-9). Tufnell scored seven goals between the two games, scoring five goals against West Virginia Wesleyan at home, and added a pair more on the road against McKendree. She also picked up three assists, and is carrying a .906 shots on goal percentage on the season.
