Indianapolis' Morrison, McClure Sweep GLIAC Lacrosse Weekly Honors

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) announced its fifth GLIAC Lacrosse Athlete of the Week awards of the 2017 season. This week UIndy senior attacker Chalane Morrison earned back-to-back GLIAC Offensive Athlete of the Week accolades, while her teammate freshman defender Riley McClure earned GLIAC Defensive Athlete of the Week for the first time.


OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Chalane Morrison, Indianapolis

Against No. 2 Lindenwood, Chalane Morrision paced the Greyhounds with three goals, and added one assist. Her offensive output and her play in transition kept the score tight. 


DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - Riley McClure, Indianapolis

UIndy freshman Riley McClure played a major role in holding the No. 2 team in the country to a season-low nine goals.  She was lights out on the defensive end, while adding six groundballs, three caused turnovers, and recording one draw control.
