IWLCA -- Three Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) women's lacrosse programs are ranked inside the 2018 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) NCAA Division II Preseason Coaches Poll.
The McKendree Bearcats begin the new campaign ranked No. 20 following a 13-5 season in 2017 while capturing the 2017 GLIAC Women's Lacrosse Tournament title along with a share of the GLIAC regular season with Grand Valley State who is slated No. 21 after an 8-9 season. Indianapolis is ranked No. 24 coming off of a 13-5 overall record last season.
The new year begins in late February before conference play gets underway March 16th before the six-team GLIAC Tournament occurs May 1, 4 & 6.
