BAY CITY, Mich. - The University of Findlay senior Mason True (Arcadia, Ohio/Arcadia/N. Illinois Univ.) was named Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Wrestling "Athlete of the Week" for his efforts last weekend.

University of Findlay senior Mason True led the #8 Roughnecks to a 2-1 record at the Ranger Duals, which concluded on Jan. 19 in Kenosha, Wisc.
True went 3-0 in the 174-pound weight class, the only Roughneck to emerge with a perfect record at the event. He won 17-5 over McKendree's Isaiah Gonzalez, 1-0 over St. Cloud State's Kurt Salmen and 5-0 against Josh Anthony of Wisconsin-Parkside.
True, a national runner-up last year in the 165-pound weight class, is 24-14 on the season.
