Ashland's Bryson Hall Named GLIAC Wrestling "Athlete of the Week"

BAY CITY, Mich. - BAY CITY, Mich. - Ashland University sophomore Bryson Hall (Doylestown, Ohio/Chippewa) was named Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference  Wrestling "Athlete of the Week" for his efforts last weekend.

Ashland University 174 pound sophomore Bryson Hall was named Great Lake Intercollegiate Athletic Conference  Wrestling "Athlete of the Week" after a pair of impressive wins last week.  On Friday night, Hall won a 7-3 match over returning NCAA Division II runner-up Mason True of the University of Findlay.  Thiewin gave the Eagles an 18-16 win in the team match over the seventh-ranked Oilers.

On Saturday, Hall recorded a 4-3 win over seventh-ranked Jake Cramer of Tiffin University, helping the Eagles to a 35-3 win over the Dragons.

Hall, a returning NCAA D-II Championships qualifier, currently has a record of 19-5 with six pins.
