Lake Erie's Rosborough Muscles Way to GLIAC Wrestler of the Week Honors

BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) selected Lake Erie junior Evan Rosborough as the fifth GLIAC Wrestler of the Week for the 2016 season after a come-from-behind, upset victory last week. Rosborough was also named D2Wrestle.com's Super Region Two Wrestler of the Week.

 Lake Erie 197 pounds Jr.

Highlights: Lake Erie junior Evan Rosborough defeated 5th ranked Jake Cramer of Tiffin, 9-4. Rosborough used a first period takedown and 2 back points to build an early 4-0 lead. He ended with a 9-5 upset decision of Cramer. Rosborough was also named D2Wrestle.com's Super Region Two Wrestler of the Week.

Jared Chambers (Tiffin)
 Tiffin junior Jared Chambers (184 pounds) improved to 3-0 in the GLIAC, defeating Lake Erie 4-1 in a 20-15 win over Lake Erie while also beating Ashland 3-1 in overtime. He has also posted a win over Findlay 3-1.

Joe Brandt (Ashland)
 Ashland senior Joe Brandt defeated Jake Cramer in Ashland's home dual win over #15 Tiffin on Friday (Feb. 12) night, 9-7, at 197 pounds. Brandt (1) and Cramer (2) were ranked 1-2 in Super Region II coming into the dual.

Nick Goebel (Findlay)
 Roughnecks junior Nick Goebel defeated Joel Bowers of No. 7 Mercyhurst at 149 pounds by tech fall, 16-0, at 1:36
