BAY CITY, Mich. - University of Findlay junior forward Eryn Weber (Ashland, Mich.) and Grand Valley State University senior goal keeper Abbey Miller (Saginaw, Mich./Heritage) earned GLIAC Women's Soccer Offensive and Defensive "Athlete of the Week" awards, respectively.

University of Findlay junior forward Eryn Weber led the Oilers to a 2-0 week by scoring three goals to go along with an assist. Weber assisted on the game winning goal in a 3-1 win at Ursuline College (Ohio) on Tuesday and then followed with her first career hat trick in a 4-1 win at home against Tiffin University on Saturday. The Ashland, Ohio native has racked up eight points for the Oilers so far, ranking second in goals scored with three and assists with two.

Grand Valley State University senior goal keeper Abbey Miller posted a pair of shutouts against Ashland University and Ohio Dominican University to help the No. 1 Lakers improve to 4-0-1. Miller stopped all three shots she faced in the two victories. She has yet to allow a goal this season and is just the second goalkeeper in Lakers history to record shutouts in the first five games of the year.
