Ashland & Ferris State Join GVSU Inside United Soccer Coaches Women's Soccer Top 25

KANSAS CITY, MO. — Three teams are now ranked inside the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) national women's soccer Top 25 after three weeks of action. Grand Valley State maintained its position at No. 3 in the country following a pair of shutouts, while Ferris State entered the poll at No. 17 with Ashland close behind in 22nd position. 

GVSU posted a 1-0 victory over Northwood on Friday before a scoreless draw against Ashland on the road. The Eagles defeated Davenport (5-0) and Charleston (4-1) as AU improved to 5-0-2 on the year. The Bulldogs went 3-0 last week, which included victories over Illinois-Springfield (2-0), then No. 13 Saginaw Valley (2-1) and Davenport (2-1).
