BAY CITY, Mich. -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced its women's tennis weekly awards following the fourth week of the regular season. Saginaw Valley sophomore Madeline Miller claimed GLIAC Athlete of the Week honors after a 4-0 weekend.
ATHLETE OF THE WEEK - Madeline Miller, Saginaw Valley
Saginaw Valley sophomore Madeline Miller had a stellar weekend in leading the Cardinals to a 2-0 record on a trip the the U.P., defeating Michigan Tech and Lake Superior State. She competed at No. 2 singles and No. 2 doubles, racking-up a 4-0 record overall on the weekend. Miller is now 8-0 overall in GLIAC singles and doubles matches, as SVSU is tied atop the league standings with a 4-0 record.
