AVCA -- Ferris State and Michigan Tech remain the lone Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) programs ranked inside this week's American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Top 25 Poll. Ferris State (18-4, 11-0 GLIAC) fell to No. 9 after a 2-1 weekend at the 2018 Midwest Region Crossover in Indianapolis, while Michigan Tech (18-4, 10-1 GLIAC) improved one spot to No. 24 after the Huskies went 2-1 as well.

Ashland (18-5, 9-2 GLIAC) sits outside the Top 25 rankings in the other receiving votes category. AU also notched a 2-1 record last weekend in Indianapolis. FSU has one match on the schedule this week with a home match on Saturday against Northwood. Tech welcomes Lake Superior State and Saginaw Valley to Houghton this weekend. Ashland heads to West Michigan this weekend to battle Grand Valley State and Davenport.
