Complete 2021-22 GLIAC Presidents' Trophy Final Standings

GLIAC -- The 2021-22 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) competition year is complete and the final standings of the annual Presidents' Trophy have been tabulated. The Grand Valley State Lakers have captured their 28th GLIAC Presidents' Trophy and are positioned atop the conference standings for the 23rd consecutive season.

GVSU collected 154.5 total points and 13 league championships during the 2021-22 season, including nine titles and 91.0 points in women's competition along with four championships and 63.5 points in men's action.

Saginaw Valley State earned its first runner-up finish since the 1987-88 season with 108.5 points, ahead of Wayne State State in third with 102.0 points. Davenport placed fourth with a 95.0-point total, followed closely by Ferris State with 91.5 points.

The GLIAC Presidents' Trophy standings are based on final regular season standings except for the following sports that are based on conference tournament finish: cross country, golf, indoor track & field, outdoor track & field, swimming & diving.

The Presidents' Trophy, commonly referred to as the All-Sports Trophy, is awarded at the end of each year of competition to the conference member having demonstrated general excellence in all or most sports. The award is designed to promote well-rounded athletic programs within each member institution.
