UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University Department of Athletics is set to host its first community youth day event of the 2011-12 season on September 10.
The kick-off event for the 2011 season is a Youth Baseball and Softball Clinic. The clinic will be from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm, and is being held in conjunction with the Cardinals' season-opening football game against Ferris State at 7 pm. The event is open to all Girls and Boys in the Great Lakes Bay Region who are in the grades K-8. On-site registration begins 45 minutes prior to clinic.
- All Clinics are FREE!!
- Clinics are conducted by SVSU coaching staff and student athletes at SVSU's Ryder Center.
- Clinic participants and parents will receive free admission to the game that follows the clinic, a coupon for a free hot dog at the concession stand and a free T-shirt.
- T-shirts can be worn into Graff Chevrolet of Bay City for a free oil change. Visit graffbaycity.com for more great offers.
- Clinic participants will have opportunities to win the following: Bike helmet, bicycle, karaoke machine, ski helmets and/or $250 College Scholarship Contribution. (Check the flyer for additional details)
