Grand Valley State junior Ethan Barnes (Caledonia, Mich.) earned his third career All-America honors during the Indoor track & field season after placing third in the 1:50.40 at the 2015 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field National Championships in the 800 meter. His third-place finish helped the Laker men to a second place finish, the best finish in program history. Barnes, who also earned All-GLIAC honors in the 800 meter and as a member of the GVSU distance medley relay team, received the NCAA Elite 89 award for carrying a 3.888 GPA as an integrated sciences major.
