Bill Ek

      The GLIAC announced the hiring of Bill Ek to serve as the league’s Supervisor of Men's Basketball officials.  Ek officially began his duties on July 9, 2010.

      Ek, a former GLIAC men’s basketball official who currently works NCAA Division I basketball, assumes this role in conjunction with his duties as the Supervisor of Officials of the Ohio Athletic Conference, the Presidents Athletic Conference, the American Mideast Conference and the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference.

      Among his many highlights, Ek has worked the Mid-American Conference Tournament, Summit League Tournament and the Division I NIT Tournament, as well as working the Division III Final Four and the McDonald’s All-American championship game.
