     Danielle Harris began her duties with the GLIAC on March 1, 2013.
        Harris has over seven years of experience working in collegiate sports. She was an intern for Media Relations and Championships with the Mid-American Conference (MAC). During her time at the MAC she coordinated MAC head coaches meetings, managed all media aspects for the respective sport championships, published weekly releases, and was the 2005 MAC volleyball gamer operations manager.
    Harris has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a specialized in Public Relations from Bowling Green State University in 2005. She earned her master’s degree in sports and recreation management from Kent State University in 2009. While at Bowling Green, Harris was in the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority and still maintains an active role in the organization.
    While at Kent State, Harris was a graduate assistant for facility and operations for two years. During her tenure at Kent she was the assistant camp coordinator for assigned sports, assisted with payment of officials, assisted with game management for all home baseball, basketball, football, gymnastics, volleyball and wrestling competitions, trained interns, student workers, ushers and security personnel for many athletic events, and scheduled traveling arrangements for all respective athletic officials.
    Harris was the events operations assistant for the Quicken Loans Arena and the Cleveland Cavaliers from 2006-07. While begin a part of the Cavaliers, Harris was involved in logistics for area projects such as renovating administration offices and construction of new platinum sites. She also assisted the Event Operations Assistant for the 2007 NCAA Division I Men’s and Women’s Basketball Final Four.
    A native of Detroit, Mich., Harris served as the athletics coordinator for Cleveland State from 2010-13. During her three years in the athletic department at Cleveland State she assisted in fiscal operations and coordinated and facilitated meetings, special events and department projects.
