Northwood Basketball Teams to Host "Pink Wave Weekend" on Saturday

MIDLAND, Mich. – The Northwood Timberwolves basketball teams are at home this Saturday for a pair of big GLIAC games.  The T-Wolves will be participating in the GLIAC-wide “Pink Wave” initiative to raise awareness for the fight against breast cancer.

The T-Wolves take on the Wayne State Warriors with the men’s game starting at 4:00 pm, followed by the women’s game at 6:00.

The Northwood players will be wearing pink warm-ups and shoe laces in support of breast cancer awareness.  Any fans joining the cause by wearing any pink clothing will get free popcorn at the concession stand. 

There will also be “Pink” trivia and other contests, plus one lucky fan at halftime of each game will get the chance to win $10,000 in the Pink Wave Shootout.

Tickets are just $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.  Any kids wearing their youth basketball jersey will get in free of charge.
