Oilers Win 9-7 in Snowy Game at Armstrong

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team scored a 9-7 victory over St. Thomas Aquinas College on March 17 in a snowy day at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The victory gives the Oilers a 2-4 record on the year.

Sophomore Hannah Peebles led the way with two goals, two ground balls and two draw controls while sophomore Jacelyn Litman had two scores.

Sophomore Graceann Conte recorded a goal and three ground balls, freshman Ciara Burud had one goal, one assist and six ground balls, and senior Allison Kelly recorded one goal, one assist, one draw and one caused turnover.

Sophomore Claire Ferrell picked up the win by making six saves.

The Oilers will return to action again tomorrow when they travel to Erie, Pa. to face Gannon University at 3pm.
