Oilers Lose Two Against Ohio Dominican

The University of Findlay baseball team lost both games in a double header against Ohio Dominican University on Wednesday, March 28th in Findlay, Ohio.

In game one, the Oilers nearly pulled out a come from behind victory when Reid Rothenbuhler hit a grand slam in the bottom of the sixth to put the Oilers within one run of the lead.  However, the Panthers would come back in the top of the seventh scoring three runs to make the score 12-8, putting the game out of reach. 

Rothenbuhler finished 2-for-4 in the game with five RBI's and scored twice while Eric Terwilliger also had two hits of his own.

Ohio Dominican carried their momentum over to the second game scoring seven runs in the first inning and going on to win 21-4.

Rothenbuhler continued his hot streak at the plate going 3-for-3 with an RBI.

With the losses, the Oilers record moves to 6-11 overall, with a 1-5 mark in GLIAC play.  They will be back in action on Saturday, March 31st to take on Saginaw Valley State in Saginaw, Mich.
