Tiffin University (2-2) could not pick up a number of three-set singles victories, ultimately falling to Wayne State 6-1.

The Dragons got their lone point by taking two of the three doubles matches. Michael Gurtner/Matthew Telford set the tone for all the doubles matches, picking up a narrow victory over Cedric Drenth/Daniel Grey 7-5. Matthew Weaver/Ruben Fonga also beat Dom Spicer/Ben Lakeman 7-5, while the Warriors' Luke Laws/Niklas Karcz defeated Daniel Martinez Roca/Cyrille Colomb 7-5.

In singles, the Warriors swept the field, though the Dragons took four of the matches into three sets. Daniel Grey defeated Michael Gurtner 6-7, 6-3, 6-4, Dom Spicer clipped Ruben Fonga 6-7, 7-6, 6-1, Ben Lakeman came back to beat Matthew Weaver 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, and David Pluszczyk edged out Cyrille Colomb 6-3, 4-6, 7-5.

Niklas Karcz also beat Matthew Telford 7-6, 6-2, and Cedric Drenth beat Mattia Colli 6-0, 6-4.
