Tiffin University (2-0) opened 2022 with a solid road win 5-2 over Northwood.

The Dragons opened with a three-match sweep of the doubles matches. Michael Gurtner/Matthew Telford picked up a 6-4 win, while Gabriel de Oliveira/Cyrille Colomb also won a close one 7-5. The Dragons finished the sweep when Ruben Fonga/Matthew Weaver posted a 6-3 decision.

In singles, TU won the first four matches and only dropped two matches after three-set battles. Gurtner picked up a close 7-6, 6-4 win and was joined by Fonga (6-1, 7-6), Telford (6-4, 6-4), and Weaver (6-3, 7-6).

TU's losses came from de Oliveira 2-6, 6-2, 10-6, and Mattia Colli 4-6, 6-3, 12-10.
