Ferris State Notches Road Win At Purdue Northwest In Decisive Fashion

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's basketball squad went on the road and controlled play from start to finish in a 84-70 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) victory at Purdue Northwest on Saturday (Feb. 19) afternoon in Hammond, Ind.

With the win, FSU moved to 18-8 overall and 11-6 in the GLIAC, forging a three-way tie for second place in the conference standings.

The Bulldogs were led in the game by junior Chloe Idoni with 19 points. Kadyn Blanchard added 13 points, Zoe Anderson scored 11 points and Adrienne Anderson added 10 points in the victory.

FSU shot 47% from the field for the afternoon and connected on nine-of-23 (39.1%) three's along with 17-of-21 (81.0%) free throws.

The Bulldogs owned a 37-25 rebounding margin and tallied 14 offensive rebounds. FSU also forced 17 turnovers and came up with 10 steals for the contest.

Overall, the Pride managed to make 50% of their field goals while hitting on seven-of-17 (41.2%) three's and 17-of-24 (70.8%) free throws.

Purdue Northwest was paced by Reagan Courier with 21 points.

Ferris State will return home for its final two regular-season games, starting on Thursday (Feb. 24) against Michigan Tech at 5:30 p.m. (ET) inside Wink Arena.
