The Tiffin University women's basketball team (3-4) was defeated by Saginaw Valley 59-52.

Saginaw came out strong going on a 10-3 run in the first five minutes of the first quarter. The Dragons scored to cut the lead down to 11-5 by the end of the first quarter.

Tiffin outscored the Cardinals 8-7 to start the second quarter to bring the score to 18-13. Saginaw went on a 10-3 run to lead Tiffin 28-16. The Cardinals went into the half up 28-19.

TU came out of the half strong going on a 4-2 run to cut the lead down to 30-23. The Cardinals outscored Tiffin 19-18 to head into the final frame up 47-37.

The Dragons had a strong start to the fourth quarter going on a 7-0 to cut the lead down to 47-44. The Cardinals countered with a 12-0 run to lead 59-44. Tiffin went on a late 8-0 run to cut the lead to 59-52 with 20 seconds left in the game. Saginaw outlasted Tiffin to win 59-52.

Presley Feltner led the offense scoring a career-high 13 points shooting 3-for-5 from the field, four rebounds, and one steal, Savanah Richards scored seven points, shooting 3-for-7 from the field, had five rebounds, and three steals, and Samantha Hoelscher also had seven points, with two rebounds, and one steal.
