Tiffin University (1-1) got a first-half goal and made it stand up in a 1-0 decision over Davenport.
TU got on the board in the 34th minute when Juan Rosique Alvarez scored off a goal by Davide Frezzi.
TU's defense kept Davenport under control from the outset, allowing just one shot on goal in the first 45 minutes.
