HOW IT HAPPENED
First Quarter
After a short punt (15 yards) into the wind by the Warriors following a three-and-out on the game's opening drive, TSU drove 45 yards in seven plays with Cody Schrader scoring on an eight-yard run to put the guests ahead 6-0 as

Samari Dean (Warren, Ohio / Howland). A 19-yard completion by
Josh Kulka (Clinton Township, Mich. / Chippewa Valley), making his first collegiate start and appearance, to
Jesse Prewitt III (Columbus, Ohio / Northland) gave the Warriors a first-and-10 at the TSU 10. After Kulka gained eight yards on third down, Wayne State's
Jeremy Taras (Macomb, Mich. / Henry Ford II) connected on a 20-yard field goal attempt to get the Warriors on the scoreboard.
The Bulldogs answered with a seven-play, 75-yard drive in just 2:02 with Tate Crane hauling in a 45-yard touchdown reception putting the visitors ahead 20-3.
Third Quarter

After an interception ended WSU's first drive after intermission, the Warriors drove 56 yards in seven plays with
Jake AmRhein (South Elgin, Ill.) scoring on a two-yard plunge. The two-point conversion pass was no good. The big play on the drive was a 14-yard scamper by Kulka on third-and-four from the Truman 16. Kulka lost his helmet and had to sit out the touchdown play by AmRhein.
