THIRD QUARTER
After and Alyssa Leister (St. Louis, Mich. / Alma) three, Cherney pushed the Warriors' lead to 17 (47-30) on a layup at the 7:37 mark of the frame.  Kate McArthur (Warren, Mich. / Cousino) buried a triple moments later to extend WSU's advantage to 53-32.  The Lakers cut the lead to 15 with 4:43 to play in the period, but Sherwood stopped the run with a layup with 4:16 on the clock.  She scored the final six points of the period for the Green and Gold, helping the Warriors take a 59-42 advantage into the final 10 minutes of play.

FOURTH QUARTER
Maxine Moore (Southfield, Mich. / Detroit Country Day) quickly added to that lead with a jumper in the opening minute of the final period.  Later in the frame, Fugate drained a triple to push WSU in front 69-47 with just over six minutes to play in the contest.  King added more to the total, splitting a pair of free throws with 3:28 to play and making a layup on the next possession.  The Warriors led 73-47 with just over three minutes to play.  Rebecca Morrish (Attica, Mich. / Flushing) scored the final bucket of the game for the Green and Gold, with the Warriors claiming a 75-50 victory.
