• Northwood started the game fast, plating a pair of runs in the first. Matt Mango brought home the first run on an RBI single, while Rhett Evans drew a bases loaded walk.
• NU extended their lead in the third, starting with a big hit from Joey Johnston. He brought home three on a bases-clearing triple to make the score 5-0.
• Later in the inning, Jacob Rybicki brought home Johnston with an RBI single.
