The Tiffin University women's basketball team dropped their final game of the season to the No. 1 Ashland University Eagles 106-76.

Tiffin kept pace with the Eagles in the 1st half, trailing 29-20 at the end of the 1st quarter. In the 2nd quarter, Tiffin again scored 20 points, but allowed Ashland to add 24 points to their total, holding a 53-40 lead at the break.

The Eagles took control in the 3rd quarter, using a 23-0 run to put Tiffin in their rearview mirror. At the end of the 3rd quarter, Tiffin surrendered 33 points in the quarter, and managed to score only 15 points. With the game in hand, the Eagles added another 20 points in the final period to finish off Tiffin 106-76.

Tiffin featured four players in double figures, with Ali Schirmer leading the charge with 18 points off the bench. Tiggie Sanabria and Kristen Massey chipped in with 16 points each, and in her final game, Bre Nauman finished with 15 points. 

Tiffin finishes the season 6-19 overall and 4-16 in GLIAC play.
