DETROIT -- After an 11-day break, the Wayne State University men's basketball program (2-1) returned to the court on Wednesday night against Central State (2-2) inside the Matthaei. The Warriors shot nearly 60 percent for the game (34-of-58) on their way to an 86-67 victory.
HOW IT HAPPENED

George Spencer (Detroit, Mich. / Belleville) found room in the paint for a layup, giving WSU an 11-7 lead at the 15-minute mark of the first half. The Marauders tied the contest at 13-13 and took a 25-24 lead with 6:27 left to play in the stanza. However, the Green & Gold ended the period on an 18-5 run to take a 42-30 lead into the locker room.

Marcus Moore (Lansing, Mich. / Waverly) began the scoring in the second half with a three-point play to extend the home lead to 45-30.
Ronald Booth (Detroit, Mich. / Consortium) began to heat up and knocked down back-to-back triples to put WSU up 61-44 at the 11:15 mark. A

Clark Bishop (Detroit, Mich. / Renaissance) free throws to give the Warriors a 73-55 advantage with five minutes to play. WSU would cruise to an 86-67 victory, its second rout over a G-MAC program.
BOOTH'S NIGHT
- Booth led three Warriors scoring in double-figures with a game-high 23 points. It is his ninth career 20-point performance and second this season. He connected on 5-of-7 three pointers.
INSIDE THE BOX SCORE
