The Timberwolves had a two-out base runner in the fifth, but went 1-2-3 in the sixth.  WSU closer Billy Hurley (Mississauga, Ont. / St. Aloysius Gonzaga) held NU off the scoreboard despite a hitby pitch and a WSU error to earn his seventh save of the season.
