Cardinals, Rangers play to 0-0 tie in Wisconsin

KENOSHA, Wis. – The Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer team battled the University of Wisconsin-Parkside to a scoreless tie in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference matchup Friday in Kenosha, Wis.

The Cardinals outshot the Rangers but were unable to find the game-winning goal, as the game ended 0-0. The tie moves SVSU to 7-4-1 overall and 4-3-1 in the GLIAC.

Three Cardinals registered four shots in the game, including Tom Worm, Alex Gloshen, and Elliot Nottoli. SVSU outshot Parkside 19-14. Mason Maziasz made six saves in net for the Cardinals.

SVSU plays its final regular-season road game of the season at Northern Michigan University at 2 pm Sunday in Marquette, Mich.
