Dragons Stumble at Davenport

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Tiffin men's tennis continued their spring season on Sunday morning with a match at Davenport, falling to the Panthers 5-2.

The Dragons struggled to get anything going in doubles, dropping all three matches as Davenport took the doubles point.

In singles, a 6-3, 2-6, 6-4 victory by Nikita Parfenov at No. 1 and a 6-4, 3-6, 6-4 win at No. 4 by Hugo Chatras was all Tiffin could muster in the win column.

Michael Gurtner and Matthew Telford also played tight, three-set matches for TU.

Next up for the men is a road match at the University of Toledo on Friday.
