The Warriors trail 26-50 against Grand Valley State in the all-time series that started in 1974.  WSU looks to upend the Lakers for the first time since 2015, when Wayne State posted an 89-63 home victory against then No. 17-GVSU.  Last season, the teams met three times with the most recent meeting coming in the GLIAC Quarterfinals on March 5, 2019.  The Green and Gold fell, 73-50, at seventh-ranked GVSU.

Davenport is currently 5-8 overall, with an 0-5 record in GLIAC contests.  The Panthers fell 63-57 at Lake Superior State last Thursday, before suffering an 85-74 home loss against Ferris State on Saturday.
