Men's Tennis Blanks Saint Francis

TOLEDO, Ohio -- The Wayne State University men's tennis team (6-0 overall) swept Saint Francis (1-7 overall) 7-0 on Friday evening.

DOUBLES RESULTS
Sophomore Max Rink (Wetzlar, Germany) and senior Pierre Renaudie (Sathonay-Camp, France) were the first to win at No. 3 doubles, 6-3.

Junior Niklas Karcz (Bottrop, Germany) and freshman Luke Laws (Sunderland, England) won at the top flight of doubles. 6-2.

Freshman Dom Spicer (London, England) and sophomore David Solar (Prague, Czech Republic) battled to a 7-5 victory at No. 2 doubles.

SINGLES RESULTS
Laws was the first off the court after winning 7-6 (7-2), 6-1 at No. 3 singles.

At No. 2 singles, Renaudie won 6-0, 6-4, while Rink won 6-2, 6-2 at the fourth flight of singles.

Karcz was victorious 6-0, 6-4 at No. 1 singles and Spicer won 6-2, 6-2 at the fifth flight of singles.

Solar concluded the results with a 6-2, 7-5 triumph at No. 6 singles.

The Warriors will face will compete at Toledo on February 23rd at 5:30 p.m.
