The University of Findlay baseball team completed the four game sweep of Northwood University with two more wins to close out their season on Sunday, May 6th in Findlay, Ohio.

The Oilers won the first game 5-1.

Findlay was only able to muster three hits in the game, but was able to manufacture their runs by capitalizing on Northwood's three errors.

Tommy Roush, Riley Christian and Blake Schmenk recorded the Oilers only hits in the game.

Derek Draper picked up his third win of the year going 5 and 1/3 innings, giving up one run on five hits while striking out three.

Findlay finished their season on a high note with a 7-1 win.

Victor Migliore got the ball rolling in the first inning for the Oilers with a three-run double down the left field line, scoring Roush, Reid Rothenbuhler and Christian.

Speed on the bases helped Findlay score two more in the second.  The first happened when Dustin Zielaskiwicz stole third and took home after a throwing error by the catcher after doubling down the right field line.  Then, later in the inning, Christian stole home after doubling and advancing to third on a ground out.

Migliore was 2-for-3 in the game with a double while Christian was 2-for-4 with a double.  Zielaskiwicz went 2-for-3 in the game and hit his 11 triple of his career, which is the UF record.

Aaron Geis picked up his third win of the season, allowing just two hits while walking four and strikeout out seven.

The Oilers end their season with an overall record of 20-29, and a GLIAC record of 13-23.
