Oilers Fall to #11 Grand Valley State

The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team lost 18-4 against 11th-ranked Grand Valley State University on March 10 at the Armstrong Sports Complex. The loss gives the Oilers a 0-2 record on the year.

The Lakers out-shot the Oilers 39-6 in the game and held a 17-8 advantage in draw controls. Findlay also turned the ball over 20 times while the Lakers only had eight.

Senior Ciara Burud led the Oilers with two goals and an assist while senior Allie Kasprzyk and sophomore Izzy Murphy-Morrow each recorded a goal.

Junior Rachel Bornstein made 13 saves and took the loss in goal.

The Oilers will be back at home on Friday to host Davenport at 4pm.
