With the match tied at 3-3, the final result came down to a three-set match at No. 4 singles, which saw Gutierrez come through with the victory 4-6, 7-6(6), 6-4.

"A really nice win today in a match that was a back and forth," SVSU Head Coach Ryan Ruzziconi said. "We played focused and composed to get that GLIAC win! Gyselle showed so much heart coming from behind to pull out the deciding win."
