Tiffin University dropped a pair of games on day one of the Glenville State tourney, losing to Alderson Broaddus 2-1 before falling to Wayne State 3-1.
Against the Warriors, Claire Feldkamp was the tough luck loser, going the distance and allowing just 4 hits with 6 strikeouts. A home run and a double that drove in two runs did all the damage for Wayne State.
Tiffin got its lone run in the 5th inning on a solo shot by Brooke Lambert. It was one of two hits by Lambert on the day, who also had a double.
Skylar Legg also had two hits for TU, which managed 6 hits total.
