Huskies come up short against #13 Lynn

ORLANDO, Fla. - Michigan Tech fell 4-1 to No. 13 ranked Lynn University Friday at USTA National Campus. The Huskies (3-4) concluded their Florida spring break trip 2-2 with wins over Winona State and UMary. The Fighting Knights won their ninth straight match and improved to 10-1 overall.

"I thought we played clutch today despite the loss," said head coach Kristin D'Agostini-Yep. "Lynn is a tough nationally ranked team and our women really fought hard against them. We look forward to playing on our home courts next week."

Lynn picked up wins at No. 1 and No. 3 doubles, then marked straight-set victories at No. 2, No. 3, and No. 4 singles to clinch the match. Tech hosts Lake Superior State on Saturday, March 18 at Gates Tennis Center to kick off conference play. The first serve is scheduled for 10 a.m.
