GLIAC -- The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) has announced weekly baseball awards following Week 11 of the 2019 season. Davenport junior Dylan Watson earned GLIAC Baseball Player of the Week honors, while senior teammate Evan Marquardt captured Pitcher of the Week accolades for the second time this season.

PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Dylan Watson - Davenport

Junior designated hitter Dylan Watson (Warren, Mich.) had his best week of the season at the plate as Davenport went 4-2 including three wins against No. 16 Wayne State. He batted .600 with 12 hits in 20 at-bats and scored eight runs. He collected a season-high six RBI, going 4-for-6 with a home run at Central Michigan on Tuesday.
