Ashland moves into top spot in NCAA Midwest Region Baseball Rankings

INDIANAPOLIS - The Ashland Eagles jumped from second to first in the 2019 NCAA Midwest Region Baseball Rankings, which were announced Tuesday.

The Eagles are 34-9 heading into their final regular-season series, which will be played at Purdue Northwest.

Wayne State (28-12) dropped from first to third, while Northwood (28-15) remained fifth. The Warriors play host to Saginaw Valley State this weekend, while Northwood travels to Grand Valley State.

The top 10 also includes Illinois-Springfield at No. 2, Quincy at No. 4, and Drury, Maryville, Malone, Missouri S&T and Southern Indiana.
