Burnsville, Minn. - University of Minnesota Duluth’s Isaac Odim was named the NCAA Super Region #3 Offensive Player of the Year while Colorado School of Mines Marc Schiechl was selected as the Defensive Player of the Year.
Sioux Falls, S.D. - Grand Valley State University dropped a 38-6 decision to Augustana College (S.D.) Saturday afternoon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. GVSU finished the season with an 11-2 record and advanced to the NCAA DII playoffs for the 10th consecutive year. Augustana moves on to play Minnesota Duluth next Saturday (Dec. 4) in the Super Region 3 final.
FLORENCE, Ala. — Michigan Tech football player Phil Milbrath (Norway, Mich.) has been named one of nine national finalists for the Harlon Hill Award, which is given annually to the best player in NCAA Division II. The senior running back joins former Huskies Lee Marana (2004) and Dave Walter (1986) as the only players in school history to earn the honor.
