PICKERINGTON, Ohio - University of Findlay senior running back Monterae Williams (Canton, Ohio/McKinley) and Ashland University junior linebacker Cody Bloom (Napoleon, Ohio) were selected as the Ohio College Football.com's 2012 Preseason Offensive & Defensive Players of the Year, respectively.

The pair were two of the 38 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) players selected to the Ohio College Football.com's 2012 Preseason All-Ohio FCS/DII teams.

Williams, who was named first team All-GLIAC one year ago, led the Oilers in rushing with 1,268 yards to go along with 18 touchdowns as a junior. Bloom, a second team All-GLIAC selection in 2011, paced the Eagles in tackles (109) and was second in the GLIAC in tackles per game (9.9) last season.
