BAY CITY, Mich. - Ohio Dominican University sophomore quarterback Mark Miller (Cincinnati, Ohio/Elder) was named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) "Offensive Player of the Week" after leading the Panthers to a 63-31 road win at the University of Findlay last Saturday. Hillsdale College junior linebacker Devin Moynihan (Livonia, Mich./Churchill) earned "Defensive Player of the Week Honors," while Northern Michigan University senior place kicker/punter Rockne Belmonte (Grand Rapids, Mich./Catholic Central) was tabbed "Special Teams Player of the Week."

Mark Miller - Ohio Dominican (SO, QB, 6-1, 190, Cincinnati,
Ohio/Elder)
ODU sophomore QB Mark Miller accounted for five touchdowns as the Panthers rolled up 550 yards in the 63-31 win at at Findlay. He completed 12-of-19 throws for 230 yards and four TDs, while running for another score. Miller averaged 19.2 yards per completion, second-best total in school history, while throwing touchdown passes of 33 and 59 yards, This was the second game with four passing TDs in his career, but it marked the first time with five total TDs. Miller currently ranks fourth in GLIAC with 19 total TDs, just one behind leader, and is third with 16 passing touchdowns.

Devin Moynihan - Hillsdale (JR, LB, 5-10, 221, Livonia,
Mich./Churchill)
Hillsdale College junior linebacker
Devin Moynihan led a stout defensive effort for the Chargers in
their 30-20 win over Ferris State Saturday. Moynihan led Hillsdale
with 12 tackles, and recovered two fumbles on the day, the second
coming with less than five minutes left in the fourth quarter.
Moynihan and his teammates helped hold the GLIAC’s No. 1
rushing team to 130 yards below its average for the season in this
game.

Belmonte made a NMU and Superior Dome record 58-yard field goal
late in the second quarter in NMU’s 38-10 upset win over No.
14-ranked Grand Valley State on Saturday. Belmonte is 6-for-10 on
field goals made this season and is four field goals shy of
NMU’s current career mark. He is a second team preseason
All-American by USA Football News and a preseason All-American as
an honorable mention choice by the D2 vs. NAIA Bowl. Belmonte holds
NMU’s record for field goals in a season. He was 15-for-19 on
field goals with a long of 45 in 2011.
