Grand Valley State moved up two spots to No. 8 after dissecting No. 13 Indianapolis last week, while Ferris State dropped back one spot to No. 9 despite a lopsided victory over East Stroudsburg. Ashland fell three spots to No. 18 following a close loss to No. 4 Indiana (Pa.) at home on Thursday.
Week 2 features a pair of Top 25 matchups between former conference foes. No. 9 Ferris State welcomes No. 19 Findlay to Big Rapids in a matchup between the two top-producing offensives in the country this past weekend.
