D2FOOTBALL.COM -- D2Football.com announced its postseason honors for the 2019 season and 6 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) football standouts have achieved D2Football.com All-America status. Ferris State senior defensive lineman Austin Edwards was selected Defensive Player of the Year after leading the Bulldogs to the National Semifinals.
Joining Edwards on the First Team was teammate offensive lineman Tyler Allison and Wayne State linebacker Leon Eggleston, while Saginaw Valley State defensive lineman Heath Williams earned Second Team accolades.
Two GLIAC student-athletes were recognized as Honorable Mention honorees: Grand Valley St. senior defensive lineman Isaiah Nkansah, and Ferris State senior defensive back James Ceasar.
